Great first turn by Holder, him and Bunyan untroubled. Priest struggled at the back.
Heat 02: Sweetman, Bargh, Juul, Priest 68.6 5-1 (10-2)
Another comfortable 5-1 for the Islanders.
Heat 03: Phillips, Fry, Franc, Stoddart 67.8 5-1 (15-3)
Island pair were gone from the gate. Newcastle pairing were the length of the straight behind.
Heat 04: King, Sweetman, Stojanowski, Juul 67.8 3-3 (18-6)
Finally a bit of racing. Diamonds made good gates, King comfortable out front. Stojanowski passed Juul on lap 2.
Heat 05: Fry, Phillips, Stancl, Stoddart 68.4 5-1 (23-7)
Great ride from Fry. Went round all of the riders on the first bend to take the lead.
Heat 06: Bunyan, King, Holder, Priest 68.8 4-2 (27-9)
Holder tried hard in third place, came very close on the line.
Heat 07: Bargh, Stojanowski, Franc, Stoddart 68.9 5-1 (32-10)
Good team riding. Stojanowski protected Bargh well in the early stages when Franc put some pressure on them.
Heat 08: Holder, Sweetman, KING, Juul 68.6 5-1 (37-11)
King in as RR and a TR.
Great ride by Holder and Sweetman, King had no answer for them.
Heat 09: Fry, King, Phillips, Priest 68.6 4-2 (41-13)
King moved Fry out really wide, right into Phillips path, Fry then went out onto the grip and it took him past King on the outside. He was then comfortable out front.
Heat 10: Bunyan, Holder, Franc, Stoddart 68.7 5-1 (46-14)
Holder was lucky to hold onto second place on the second lap as he turned the bike a little bit more to the left than expected!
Heat 11: Bargh, Stojanowski, Stancl, Juul 69.6 5-1 (51-15)
From the gate. Another comfortable 5-1. Newcastle riding poorly.
Heat 12: Phillips, Franc, Sweetman, Priest 70.2 4-2 (55-17)
Phillips was all over Franc for four laps and managed to get him on the line. Great ride.

Newcastle win the toss and take gates 1&3.Nearly got to the 70 mark! Islanders were on a 5-1 when Bunyans engine went bang while he was leading on lap 2. Fry did a good job to miss him as they were team riding at the time.
