Excellent gate from Islanders Irving made up a lot of ground passing Powell bend 4 lap 2 and chased for 2nd all the way to line but Sweetman too far in front.

Scunny pushed Fry wide bend 2 lap 1 giving them the result. Phillips retired bend 3 lap 4.
